Blair Fontana

Proxy and Engagement Analyst

Blair joined SHARE in October 2011 and works on proxy voting and governance in addition to providing research and analysis for shareholder engagement on environmental and social issues.

He previously worked at a boutique law firm in downtown Vancouver specializing in corporate finance and securities. He has experience in private placement financing, initial public offerings and corporate governance matters. Before attending law school he worked as an analyst for a real estate consulting firm and owned a small media and production company.

Blair obtained his J.D. from the University of British Columbia Faculty of Law and is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Geography.
