Gulnar Patel

Program Assistant, Global Unions Committee on Workers' Capital (CWC)

After interning with the Global Unions Committee on Workers Capital (CWC) in the summer of 2011, Gulnar Patel joined the CWC as program assistant. She provides administrative support for events and communications related to the CWC’s work in advancing dialogue and action on the responsible investment of workers’ capital.

Prior to joining the CWC, she worked as a processing assistant for Keybase Financial Group, an investment services company, and in government as a co-op student with the Canada School of Public Service. She has spent time interning with the Canadian Red Cross, volunteering as a writer with the UBC Alumni Affairs Communications team and volunteering with the Canadian Alliance for Development Initiatives and Projects in India.

She holds a BA degree from UBC, in International Relations and English Literature, and an MA from Carleton University’s Norman Paterson School of International Affairs.
