Tamara Connell

Programme Director

Tamara Connell joined SHARE in November 2011. As Programme Director, her responsibilities are to oversee SHARE’s investment and governance education program for pension trustees.

While originally from British Columbia, Tamara has recently spent several years working in Sweden as Program Director of an international Master’s program called Strategic Leadership towards Sustainability. In this role, she was responsible for the planning and delivery of all course curricula. Her experience and passion for enhancing leadership for sustainable development via education and training has brought her to SHARE.
Her prior work has included consulting on improving companies’ environmental and social impacts in sectors such as banking, oil and gas development, and property management. She has lived and worked on three continents and has travelled extensively.

Tamara holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Planning from the University of Northern British Columbia, and a Master of Science in Strategic Leadership towards Sustainability from the Blekinge Institute of Technology in Karlskrona, Sweden.
