Fair Trade Coffee

Demand for fair trade products such as coffee is rising, presenting a growing opportunity for companies in the consumer product and service industry.

Fair trade certification provides assurance to consumers, companies and investors that consumer products meet high environmental standards, and that farmers and producers at the beginning of a product’s supply chain earn enough money to provide a decent standard of living.

In partnership with Meritas Mutual Funds, SHARE is asking companies to purchase and serve fair trade certified coffee and to work within their current supply chains to improve environmental and social standards.
